BEYOND THE CHAIR

Are you looking for an exciting career that allows you to utilize both your managerial skills and your cosmetology experience? Area Supervisors are an integral part of the SmartStyle team. They create successful salons by encouraging energetic, friendly and goal-oriented stylists. They are responsible for staff recruitment and training, sales performance and growth, salon operations and implementation of company policies. Supervisors have a key role in opening new salons and may be required to temporarily manage salon locations.

Supervisors report directly to a SmartStyle Regional Manager and the Salon Director. We are looking for motivated individuals with significant prior salon management experience and a valid cosmetology license. Applicants should have strong communication skills in order to maintain constructive working relationships with Wal-Mart personnel, Regional Managers and SmartStyle salon managers and employees.
